| An issue was discovered in GNOME GLib before 2.66.7 and 2.67.x before 2.67.4. If g_byte_array_new_take() was called with a buffer of 4GB or more on a 64-bit platform, the length would be truncated modulo 2**32, causing unintended length truncation. | ||||
| CVE-2021-27212 | 2 Debian, Openldap | 2 Debian Linux, Openldap | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| In OpenLDAP through 2.4.57 and 2.5.x through 2.5.1alpha, an assertion failure in slapd can occur in the issuerAndThisUpdateCheck function via a crafted packet, resulting in a denial of service (daemon exit) via a short timestamp. This is related to schema_init.c and checkTime. | ||||
| CVE-2021-22946 | 9 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 6 more | 40 Macos, Debian Linux, Fedora and 37 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| A user can tell curl >= 7.20.0 and <= 7.78.0 to require a successful upgrade to TLS when speaking to an IMAP, POP3 or FTP server (`--ssl-reqd` on the command line or`CURLOPT_USE_SSL` set to `CURLUSESSL_CONTROL` or `CURLUSESSL_ALL` withlibcurl). This requirement could be bypassed if the server would return a properly crafted but perfectly legitimate response. This flaw would then make curl silently continue its operations **withoutTLS** contrary to the instructions and expectations, exposing possibly sensitive data in clear text over the network. | ||||
| CVE-2021-22926 | 5 Haxx, Netapp, Oracle and 2 more | 26 Curl, Active Iq Unified Manager, Clustered Data Ontap and 23 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| libcurl-using applications can ask for a specific client certificate to be used in a transfer. This is done with the `CURLOPT_SSLCERT` option (`--cert` with the command line tool). When libcurl is built to use the macOS native TLS library Secure Transport, an application can ask for the client certificate by name or with a file name - using the same option. If the name exists as a file, it will be used instead of by name.If the appliction runs with a current working directory that is writable by other users (like `/tmp`), a malicious user can create a file name with the same name as the app wants to use by name, and thereby trick the application to use the file based cert instead of the one referred to by name making libcurl send the wrong client certificate in the TLS connection handshake. | ||||
| CVE-2026-87690 | 1 Metasploit | 1 Metasploit Framework | 2026-10-14 | 8.8 High |
| The Metasploit Framework post module post/apple_ios/gather/ios_image_gather is affected by a relative path traversal vulnerability (CWE-22). The module interpolates file names taken from a Meterpreter directory listing — data fully controlled by a hostile or tampered iOS device — directly into the local destination path passed to client.fs.file.download_file(), with no sanitization. The underlying stdapi sink (lib/rex/post/meterpreter/extensions/stdapi/fs/file.rb) writes to whatever path is supplied, so a listing entry such as ../../msfconsole.rc escapes the intended ~/.msf4/loot/<random> directory and overwrites ~/.msf4/msfconsole.rc, a resource file that every msfconsole invocation automatically executes at startup (lib/msf/ui/console/driver.rb:196). An attacker-controlled device that lures an operator into running this gather module achieves an arbitrary file write as the operator; because the written msfconsole.rc can load a second written file (a Ruby plugin whose top-level code runs on require), this converts into persistent code execution and an interactive shell as the operator (frequently root) on the pentester's workstation at the next console launch. The same traversal was previously fixed upstream in the recursive downloader (stdapi/fs/dir.rb scrubs separators); this module omitted the equivalent scrub. The fix applies the same separator scrub (or File.basename) to listing entries before building the local path. | ||||
| CVE-2026-85974 | 1 Progress Software Corporation | 1 Marklogic Server | 2026-10-14 | 7.4 High |
| Progress MarkLogic Server 12.x releases before 12.1.0 and 11.x releases before 11.3.7 do not consistently validate TLS certificate hostnames for certain outbound connections. | Progress MarkLogic Server 12.x releases before 12.1.0 and 11.x releases before 11.3.7 contain an authorization flaw that could allow a remote attacker with administrative privileges to access authentication material associated with higher-privileged users, potentially resulting in unauthorized administrative access. | ||||
| CVE-2025-57739 | 1 Fortinet | 1 Fortimail | 2026-10-14 | 7.7 High |
| An improper neutralization of special elements used in an SQL Command ("SQL Injection") vulnerability [CWE-89] vulnerability in Fortinet FortiMail 7.6.0 through 7.6.3, FortiMail 7.4.0 through 7.4.5, FortiMail 7.2.0 through 7.2.8 allows an authenticated attacker to execute unauthorized code or commands via specifically crafted HTTP or HTTPS requests. | ||||
| CVE-2021-22901 | 6 Haxx, Netapp, Oracle and 3 more | 35 Curl, Active Iq Unified Manager, Cloud Backup and 32 more | 2026-10-14 | 8.1 High |
| curl 7.75.0 through 7.76.1 suffers from a use-after-free vulnerability resulting in already freed memory being used when a TLS 1.3 session ticket arrives over a connection. A malicious server can use this in rare unfortunate circumstances to potentially reach remote code execution in the client. When libcurl at run-time sets up support for TLS 1.3 session tickets on a connection using OpenSSL, it stores pointers to the transfer in-memory object for later retrieval when a session ticket arrives. If the connection is used by multiple transfers (like with a reused HTTP/1.1 connection or multiplexed HTTP/2 connection) that first transfer object might be freed before the new session is established on that connection and then the function will access a memory buffer that might be freed. When using that memory, libcurl might even call a function pointer in the object, making it possible for a remote code execution if the server could somehow manage to get crafted memory content into the correct place in memory. | ||||
| CVE-2021-20305 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 2 more | 10 Debian Linux, Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager and 7 more | 2026-10-14 | 8.1 High |
| A flaw was found in Nettle in versions before 3.7.2, where several Nettle signature verification functions (GOST DSA, EDDSA & ECDSA) result in the Elliptic Curve Cryptography point (ECC) multiply function being called with out-of-range scalers, possibly resulting in incorrect results. This flaw allows an attacker to force an invalid signature, causing an assertion failure or possible validation. The highest threat to this vulnerability is to confidentiality, integrity, as well as system availability. | ||||
| CVE-2021-3999 | 4 Debian, Gnu, Netapp and 1 more | 16 Debian Linux, Glibc, E-series Performance Analyzer and 13 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in glibc. An off-by-one buffer overflow and underflow in getcwd() may lead to memory corruption when the size of the buffer is exactly 1. A local attacker who can control the input buffer and size passed to getcwd() in a setuid program could use this flaw to potentially execute arbitrary code and escalate their privileges on the system. | ||||
| CVE-2021-3998 | 2 Gnu, Netapp | 12 Glibc, H300s, H300s Firmware and 9 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
