CVSS v3.1 |
| Vaadin Charts renders charts with the Highcharts library and pins an exact version of it, 9.2.2 in Vaadin 22 to 24 and 12.2.0 in Vaadin 25, so an application cannot remove these vulnerabilities by upgrading Highcharts on its own. Highsoft disclosed several vulnerabilities in that library that are reachable through the chart configuration: writes to Object.prototype through dotted series.keys paths, and cross-site scripting through credits.href, through breadcrumbs.style, through HTML text parsing while printing, and through xlink:href attributes in exported charts. An application is affected where data an attacker controls reaches the chart configuration, for example through additionalOptions, through updateConfiguration(), or through text options that accept markup. The fixed Vaadin versions apply Highsoft's recommended workarounds to the bundled Highcharts when it loads, and keep the same Highcharts version.
Users of affected versions should apply the following mitigation or upgrade. Releases that have fixed this issue include:

| RTIR extends RT's HTML scrubber to allow an internal link
placeholder, and the extension lets through any link that merely
contains the placeholder, including links using the executable
javascript: scheme. The change applies to the whole RT instance
once RTIR is installed, not only to RTIR's own queues. Anyone who
can add HTML content to a ticket on such an instance can store
such a link. That includes an unauthenticated sender of HTML email
to the Incident Reports queue, which RTIR opens to everyone by
default. Script runs when a user clicks the link, in that user's
session, and can act in RT with that user's authority.
This issue was fixed in version 5.0.11 and 6.0.4 |
| RTIR's ticket creation forms show the subject of the related
ticket when splitting a ticket or creating an incident from a
report, and they render that subject without HTML escaping. A
ticket subject containing script runs it when a user opens either
form. RTIR grants everyone the right to create Incident Reports by
default, so an unauthenticated sender of an emailed report can set
that subject. The script then runs in the session of the incident
handler who creates an incident from the report or splits it, and
can act in RT with that user's authority.
The issue was fixed in version 6.0.4. RTIR 5.0 is not
affected. |
| RT's automatic link creation for URLs in HTML ticket content does
not HTML-escape the URL it places in the link. A URL crafted to
break out of the link's address can add a script that runs when the
ticket history is displayed, with no further action by the viewer.
Anyone who can add HTML content to a ticket can plant it. That
includes an unauthenticated sender of HTML email to any queue that
grants CreateTicket or ReplyToTicket to Everyone, which is routine
for a queue that accepts mail from the public. The script runs in
the session of any user who views the ticket, and can act in RT
with that user's authority.
This issue was fixed in version 5.0.11 and 6.0.4 |
| A flaw was found in Spacewalk. A remote attacker can exploit a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Lookup Login/Password form by injecting arbitrary web script or HTML via the URI. This can lead to information disclosure or unauthorized actions within the user's browser session. |
| A flaw was found in Spacewalk and Red Hat Network Satellite. This vulnerability, known as cross-site scripting (XSS), allows remote attackers to inject malicious web scripts or HTML into web pages viewed by other users. The flaw is triggered through vectors related to Search forms, enabling attackers to potentially steal sensitive information or perform actions on behalf of the victim. |
| A flaw was found in Spacewalk and Red Hat Network Satellite. This cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability allows a remote attacker to inject arbitrary web script or HTML into web pages through various input fields, such as the "Filter by Synopsis" field. This could lead to the execution of malicious code in a user's web browser, potentially compromising user sessions or disclosing sensitive information. |
| Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the web interface in Red Hat Network (RHN) Satellite allows remote authenticated users to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the Description field of the asset tag in a Custom Info page. |
| A flaw was found in FreeIPA. An unauthenticated remote attacker could exploit a DOM Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the FreeIPA/IdM Web UI password reset page. By enticing a victim to click a specially crafted link and complete a password reset, the attacker could inject and execute arbitrary JavaScript code. This allows the attacker to perform actions within the victim's authenticated session, potentially leading to full administrative control if an IdM administrator is targeted. |
| The Animation Addons for Elementor – GSAP Powered Elementor Addons & Website Templates plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to DOM-Based Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the multiple parameters in all versions up to, and including, 4.2.6 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |
| The FV Flowplayer Video Player plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'fv_player_videos[_fv_player_user_video][]' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 7.5.55.7212 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires an administrator to have enabled the "Allow visitors to upload videos to their profile" (profile_videos_enable_bio) setting before Subscriber-level users can submit profile videos. |
| Mythic 3.2.16 through 3.4.0.61 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows attackers controlling target endpoint files to run JavaScript in the Mythic UI origin by planting HTML in .pdf-named files. When an operator downloads the file and clicks Preview Media, content-sniffed HTML from /direct/view renders same-origin, stealing localStorage JWTs for full GraphQL and REST access. |
| Axigen Mail Server WebMail before 10.6.39 and 10.7.1 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to inject script via unescaped sender display names in the conversation view. Attackers can send an email with HTML and script in the From display name that executes when the recipient opens the folder, enabling mailbox content theft or redirection. |
| Part-DB is an open source inventory management system for electronic components. Prior to version 2.12.2, Part-DB renders BOM validation information messages using Twig's |raw filter. These messages include translated placeholders populated with user-controlled Part names. A user who can edit a Part name can store HTML markup in the Part name. When another user imports a BOM CSV referencing that Part ID, the malicious Part name is rendered as HTML in the victim's BOM validation result page. This results in a cross-user stored HTML injection issue. JavaScript execution appears to be blocked by the current Content Security Policy, but arbitrary HTML links, forms, images, and CSS-based UI elements can still be injected into a trusted Part-DB page. This issue has been patched in version 2.12.2. |
| The Food Store – Online Food Delivery & Pickup plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'service_time' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.5.5 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires the site to have the 'Enable Checkout Service Fields' option turned off, which is a non-default configuration, while 'Enable Pickup/Delivery Service' remains enabled. |
| The Authentication Endpoint accepts user-supplied input without sufficient encoding, allowing for the injection of malicious JavaScript payloads. This vulnerability can be triggered by submitting crafted input to the Authentication Endpoint.
Successful exploitation allows an attacker to redirect the user's browser to a malicious website, modify the web page's user interface, or extract sensitive information from the browser. However, due to the `httpOnly` flag on session-related cookies, session hijacking is not possible. |
| Omni C20 uses hard-coded credentials that could allow an attacker to monitor log files to obtain credentials to access information like mapping data. |
| The Legacy Pipe receiver protocol (handshake / sendPipeData) uses a
hardcoded SUPER_USER (root) identity when executing data loading and
deletion operations. A user with only SYSTEM-level privileges (such as
USE_PIPE or MAINTAIN) who does NOT have WRITE_DATA or DELETE_DATA
permissions on target databases can send specially crafted PipeData
messages through the Legacy Pipe API, resulting in data loading/deletion
operations executed as root — effectively bypassing IoTDB's permission
model entirely.
This issue affects Apache IoTDB: from 2.0.0 before 2.0.11.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.0.11, which fixes the issue. |
| An authenticated cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the /spina/embeddable.rb component of Spina CMS v2.21.0 allows attackers to execute arbitrary web scripts or HTML via injecting a crafted URL. |
| The Gravity Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via List Field in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Successful exploitation requires the administrator to click the injected link in the entry detail view and confirm a dialog, which triggers the admin JavaScript bundle's delegated data-dialog-callback handler to invoke the attacker-supplied function reference. |
