CVSS v3.1 |
| A directory traversal vulnerability in the ZIP archive extraction routines of KNIME Analytics Platform 3.2.0 and above can result in arbitrary files being overwritten on the user's system. This vulnerability is also known as 'Zip-Slip'.
An attacker can create a KNIME workflow that, when being opened by a user, can overwrite arbitrary files that the user has write access to. It's not necessary to execute the workflow, opening the workflow is sufficient. The user will notice that something is wrong because an error is being reported but only after the files have already been written.
This can impact data integrity (file contents are changed) or cause errors in other software (vital files being corrupted). It can even lead to remote code execution if executable files are being replaced and subsequently executed by the user. In all cases the attacker has to know the location of files on the user's system, though.

| Telenia Software s.r.l TVox before v22.0.17 was discovered to contain a remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability in the component action_export_control.php. |
| A vulnerability in Veeam Backup & Replication allows a low-privileged user with certain roles to perform remote code execution (RCE) by updating existing jobs. These jobs can be configured to run pre- and post-scripts, which can be located on a network share and are executed with elevated privileges by default. The user can update a job and schedule it to run almost immediately, allowing arbitrary code execution on the server. |
| Enabling Simple Ajax Uploader plugin included in Laragon open-source software allows for a remote code execution (RCE) attack via an improper input validation in a file_upload.php file which serves as an example.
By default, Laragon is not vulnerable until a user decides to use the aforementioned plugin. |
| Buffer overflow in firmware lewei_cam binary version 2.0.10 in Force 1 Discovery Wifi U818A HD+ FPV Drone allows attacker to gain remote code execution as root user via a specially crafted UDP packet. | SQL injection in Ivanti Endpoint Manager before 2024 November Security Update or 2022 SU6 November Security Update allows a remote authenticated attacker with admin privileges to achieve remote code execution. |
| In wlan driver, there is a possible out of bounds write due to improper input validation. This could lead to remote code execution with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: ALPS08998901; Issue ID: MSV-1602. |

| An issue was discovered in Zimbra Collaboration (ZCS) 8.8.15 and 9.0. Remote code execution can occur through ClientUploader by an authenticated admin user. An authenticated admin user can upload files through the ClientUploader utility, and traverse to any other directory for remote code execution. |
| A remote code execution vulnerability in EdgeRouters (Version 2.0.9-hotfix.4 and earlier) allows a malicious actor with an operator account to run arbitrary administrator commands. This vulnerability is fixed in Version 2.0.9-hotfix.5 and later. |

| Adobe InDesign version 16.0 (and earlier) is affected by an Out-of-bounds Write vulnerability when parsing a crafted file. An unauthenticated attacker could leverage this vulnerability to achieve remote code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. |

| Adobe InCopy version 16.0 (and earlier) is affected by an path traversal vulnerability when parsing a crafted file. An unauthenticated attacker could leverage this vulnerability to achieve remote code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. |
| Adobe Connect version 11.2.3 (and earlier) is affected by a Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability to achieve arbitrary method invocation when AMF messages are deserialized on an Adobe Connect server. An attacker can leverage this to execute remote code execution on the server. |

| XWiki Platform is a generic wiki platform offering runtime services for applications built on top of it. In affected versions it's possible for an unprivileged user to perform a remote code execution by injecting a groovy script in her own profile and by calling the Reset password feature since the feature is performing a save of the user profile with programming rights in the impacted versions of XWiki. The issue has been patched in XWiki 13.1RC1. There are two different possible workarounds, each consisting of modifying the XWiki/ResetPassword page. 1. The Reset password feature can be entirely disabled by deleting the XWiki/ResetPassword page. 2. The script in XWiki/ResetPassword can also be modified or removed: an administrator can replace it with a simple email contact to ask an administrator to reset the password. |
| RaspberryMatic is a free and open-source operating system for running a cloud-free smart-home using the homematicIP / HomeMatic hardware line of IoT devices. A Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability in the file upload facility of the WebUI interface of RaspberryMatic exists. Missing input validation/sanitization in the file upload mechanism allows remote, unauthenticated attackers with network access to the WebUI interface to achieve arbitrary operating system command execution via shell metacharacters in the HTTP query string. Injected commands are executed as root, thus leading to a full compromise of the underlying system and all its components. Versions after `2.31.25.20180428` and prior to `3.63.8.20220330` are affected. Users are advised to update to version `3.63.8.20220330` or newer. There are currently no known workarounds to mitigate the security impact and users are advised to update to the latest version available. |
