CVSS v3.1 |
| A flaw was found in the github.com/containers/image library. This flaw allows attackers to trigger unexpected authenticated registry accesses on behalf of a victim user, causing resource exhaustion, local path traversal, and other attacks. |
| A flaw was found in glib. Missing validation of offset and count parameters in the g_buffered_input_stream_peek() function can lead to an integer overflow during length calculation. When specially crafted values are provided, this overflow results in an incorrect size being passed to memcpy(), triggering a buffer overflow. This can cause application crashes, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS). |
| An API design flaw in WebKitGTK and WPE WebKit allows untrusted web content to unexpectedly perform IP connections, DNS lookups, and HTTP requests. Applications expect to use the
WebPage::send-request signal handler to approve or reject all network requests. However, certain types of HTTP requests bypass this signal handler. |
| A flaw was found in the Submariner project. Due to unnecessary role-based access control permissions, a privileged attacker can run a malicious container on a node that may allow them to steal service account tokens and further compromise other nodes and potentially the entire cluster. |
| A vulnerability was found in CRI-O, where it can be requested to take a checkpoint archive of a container and later be asked to restore it. When it does that restoration, it attempts to restore the mounts from the restore archive instead of the pod request. As a result, the validations run on the pod spec, verifying that the pod has access to the mounts it specifies are not applicable to a restored container. This flaw allows a malicious user to trick CRI-O into restoring a pod that doesn't have access to host mounts. The user needs access to the kubelet or cri-o socket to call the restore endpoint and trigger the restore. |
| A flaw was found in Red Hat Openshift AI Service. The TrustyAI component is granting all service accounts and users on a cluster permissions to get, list, watch any pod in any namespace on the cluster.
TrustyAI is creating a role `trustyai-service-operator-lmeval-user-role` and a CRB `trustyai-service-operator-default-lmeval-user-rolebinding` which is being applied to `system:authenticated` making it so that every single user or service account can get a list of pods running in any namespace on the cluster
Additionally users can access all `persistentvolumeclaims` and `lmevaljobs` |
| A memory leak flaw was found in Golang in the RSA encrypting/decrypting code, which might lead to a resource exhaustion vulnerability using attacker-controlled inputs. The memory leak happens in github.com/golang-fips/openssl/openssl/rsa.go#L113. The objects leaked are pkey and ctx. That function uses named return parameters to free pkey and ctx if there is an error initializing the context or setting the different properties. All return statements related to error cases follow the "return nil, nil, fail(...)" pattern, meaning that pkey and ctx will be nil inside the deferred function that should free them. |
| Multiple unspecified vulnerabilities in Adobe Flash Player 10.x before 10.0.12.36 and 9.x before 9.0.151.0 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via unknown vectors related to "input validation errors." |
| Integer overflow in the FontFileInitTable function in X.Org libXfont before 20070403 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code via a long first line in the fonts.dir file, which results in a heap overflow. |
| Integer overflow in the bdfReadCharacters function in bdfread.c in (1) X.Org libXfont before 20070403 and (2) freetype 2.3.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code via crafted BDF fonts, which result in a heap overflow. |
| Double free vulnerability in the GSS-API library (lib/gssapi/krb5/k5unseal.c), as used by the Kerberos administration daemon (kadmind) in MIT krb5 before 1.6.1, when used with the authentication method provided by the RPCSEC_GSS RPC library, allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code and modify the Kerberos key database via a message with an "an invalid direction encoding". |
| Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in SquirrelMail 1.4.0 through 1.4.9 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) mailto parameter in (a) webmail.php, the (2) session and (3) delete_draft parameters in (b) compose.php, and (4) unspecified vectors involving "a shortcoming in the magicHTML filter." |
| The telnet daemon (telnetd) in MIT krb5 before 1.6.1 allows remote attackers to bypass authentication and gain system access via a username beginning with a '-' character, a similar issue to CVE-2007-0882. |
| Unspecified vulnerability in the Java Management Extensions (JMX) management agent in Sun Java Runtime Environment (JRE) in JDK and JRE 6 Update 6 and earlier and JDK and JRE 5.0 Update 15 and earlier, when local monitoring is enabled, allows remote attackers to "perform unauthorized operations" via unspecified vectors. |
| Unspecified vulnerability in scripting language support in Sun Java Runtime Environment (JRE) in JDK and JRE 6 Update 6 and earlier allows context-dependent attackers to gain privileges via an untrusted (1) application or (2) applet, as demonstrated by an application or applet that grants itself privileges to (a) read local files, (b) write to local files, or (c) execute local programs. |
| Unspecified vulnerability in Sun Java Web Start in JDK and JRE 5.0 before Update 16 and SDK and JRE 1.4.x before 1.4.2_18 allows remote attackers to create or delete arbitrary files via an untrusted application, aka CR 6704077. |
| fs/open.c in the Linux kernel before 2.6.22 does not properly strip setuid and setgid bits when there is a write to a file, which allows local users to gain the privileges of a different group, and obtain sensitive information or possibly have unspecified other impact, by creating an executable file in a setgid directory through the (1) truncate or (2) ftruncate function in conjunction with memory-mapped I/O. |
| Unspecified vulnerability in Java Web Start (JWS) and Java Plug-in with Sun JDK and JRE 6 Update 10 and earlier; JDK and JRE 5.0 Update 16 and earlier; and SDK and JRE 1.4.2_18 and earlier allows untrusted JWS applications to gain privileges to access local files or applications via unknown vectors, aka 6727081. |
| The Java Runtime Environment (JRE) for Sun JDK and JRE 6 Update 10 and earlier; JDK and JRE 5.0 Update 16 and earlier; and SDK and JRE 1.4.2_18 and earlier does not properly enforce context of ZoneInfo objects during deserialization, which allows remote attackers to run untrusted applets and applications in a privileged context, as demonstrated by "deserializing Calendar objects". |
| Java Runtime Environment (JRE) for Sun JDK and JRE 6 Update 10 and earlier might allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted GIF file that triggers memory corruption during display of the splash screen, possibly related to splashscreen.dll. |
