CVSS v3.1 |
| Arcane is an interface for managing Docker containers, images, networks, and volumes. Prior to 2.11.0, AuthMiddleware.managerAuth accepts X-Arcane-Agent-Token credentials and the environment-token branch calls next before the AdminRequired option is evaluated. An attacker with a valid X-Arcane-Agent-Token can request /api/debug/pprof/* through a route protected by WithAdminRequired because EnvironmentPermissionSet is installed and the request continues without checking IsGlobalAdmin. This exposes administrator-restricted Go pprof runtime and diagnostic information and may impose profiling overhead. This issue is fixed in version 2.11.0. |
| Configurable Reports block for Moodle before 5.3.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability that allows authenticated users to read restricted reports through the block_configurable_reports_get_report_data web service. When check_permissions fails, the function only adds a warning and still returns the full report table, letting any logged-in user supply arbitrary report ids to read SQL reports over user and grade data. |
| ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Prior to 3.7.1 of the import-export module, duplicate-import continuation accepts client-controlled replacement choices without binding them to a user-owned server-side analysis or authorizing the canonical target. On an import-enabled localized type, a contributor with draft editing authority can cross the publication boundary by selecting a published document for replacement, although the current assessment is based on remediation review rather than a repeated end-to-end reproduction. This issue is fixed in version 3.7.1. |
| SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted was found to be affected by a broken authorization schema that can allow low-privileged users to access and modify information beyond their assigned permissions. |
| ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Prior to 4.33.0, viewRole is not applied to anonymous visitors when a developer exposes user objects through a publicly rendered relationship or expressly enabled public API. Inadequately limited templates, including serialization of an entire related user object, can conditionally disclose user fields, but relationships do not automatically publish full user objects and password hashes are stored separately and are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 4.33.0. |
| A service account with user-management permissions in one organization can read, modify, disable or delete users belonging to other organizations on the same Grafana instance through the SCIM API (insecure direct object reference). Only Grafana Enterprise instances with SCIM enabled are affected. |
| ColdFusion is affected by an Incorrect Authorization vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code. The vulnerable component is restricted to an administrative network zone by default. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction. Scope is changed. |
| In Eclipse Vert.x versions [4.0.0, 4.5.34] or [5.0.0,5.0.12] or [5.1.0,5.1.9] or [5.2.0, 5.2.0], a scope bypass vulnerability exists in Eclipse Vert.x Web's ChainAuthHandler when used with scope-requiring authentication handlers such as JWTAuthHandler or OAuth2AuthHandler. When a user is already authenticated on the routing context by a preceding handler in the request pipeline, ChainAuthHandler skips all scope validation configured via withScope() or withScopes(). This affects both any() and all() chain modes.
The root cause is that postAuthentication() relies on internal state that is only set during the authenticate() phase, which is skipped entirely for pre-authenticated users. In any() mode, the absence of this state causes the method to fall through without delegating scope checks to any handler. In all() mode, scope checks are unconditionally skipped.
This allows a user with a valid token but insufficient scopes to access resources protected by scope requirements, provided they were authenticated by an earlier handler in the pipeline. The most common trigger is overlapping authentication handlers on nested routes, where a parent route authenticates broadly and a child route uses a chain to enforce specific scopes.
The impacted component Maven coordinate is io.vertx:vertx-web |
| Froxlor from 0.10.0 before 2.3.15 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in the Admins.get API command that allows resellers to read any admin record via identifier confusion. Attackers can send their own loginname with another admin's numeric id to retrieve contact email, IP allow-lists, resource limits, notes, and login history. |
| Craft CMS from 5.0.0 before 5.11.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability that allows site-scoped GraphQL tokens to mutate other sites' content because requireAllowedSite() is not enforced. Attackers holding a site-A token can create entries in site B via supplied siteId and delete entries, categories, tags, and assets shared across sites. |
| Parse Server before 8.6.98 and 9.0.0 before 9.10.3-alpha.1 does not enforce the create and addField class-level permissions of the _Session class when creating sessions. An authenticated user, or anyone holding that user's session token, can send POST requests to /sessions or /classes/_Session to create additional sessions for that user and add fields to _Session; these sessions are not revoked when the original session is logged out. |
| Incorrect authorization in the Arm Cortex-R82 (Armv8-R AArch64) MPU port in FreeRTOS-Kernel V11.3.0 and V11.3.1 might allow an unprivileged task on MPU-enabled builds to read and write privileged kernel memory outside the regions assigned to it, via a buffer argument passed to an MPU system call.
To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version V11.3.2 or later. |
| Fleet's Helm deployer did not fully apply ServiceAccount impersonation in two code paths, allowing a tenant with git push access to a Fleet-monitored repository to read secrets from any namespace on every downstream cluster targeted by their `GitRepo`. |
| The Salon Booking System WordPress plugin before 10.31.11 does not restrict which user account its salon staff roles may edit through the customers management screen, allowing users with the Salon Staff or Salon Worker role to reset any other user's role, including administrators, to a customer and to overwrite arbitrary profile fields on any account, leading to loss of administrative access and potential site lockout. |
| Vikunja from 1.0.0-rc0 before 2.7.0 contains an improper authorization vulnerability in RecalculateTaskPositions that allows authenticated users with zero accessible projects to write task_positions rows for all tasks instance-wide. Attackers can delete their Inbox after repointing default_project_id, then create empty-filter saved filters to persist cross-tenant references and amplify writes for denial of service. |
| Improper authorization in Windows Encrypting File System (EFS) allows an authorized attacker to perform tampering locally. |
| Parse Server before 8.6.99 and 9.0.0 before 9.10.3-alpha.2 evaluates checks against the target account during a user update before authorizing the caller, and reflects their outcome in the response. An unauthorized caller, with or without a session, can confirm guessed usernames or emails and, when passwordPolicy.maxPasswordHistory or doNotAllowUsername is set, guessed current or previous passwords, bypassing account lockout. |
| ColdFusion is affected by an Incorrect Authorization vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. A low-privileged attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. Scope is changed. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ip6_vti: set netns_immutable on the fallback device.
john1988 and Noam Rathaus reported that vti6_init_net() does not set the
netns_immutable flag on the per-netns fallback tunnel device (ip6_vti0).
Other similar tunnel drivers (like ip6_tunnel, sit, ip6_gre, and ip_tunnel)
correctly set this flag during their fallback device initialization to
prevent them from being moved to another network namespace. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
vxlan: require CAP_NET_ADMIN in the device netns for changelink
A tunnel changelink() operates on at most two netns, dev_net(dev) and
the sticky underlay netns vxlan->net. They differ once the device is
created in or moved to a netns other than the one the request runs in.
The rtnl changelink path checks CAP_NET_ADMIN only against dev_net(dev),
so a caller privileged there but not in vxlan->net can rewrite a vxlan
device whose underlay lives in vxlan->net.
vxlan_changelink() validates and applies the new configuration against
vxlan->net (vxlan_config_validate(vxlan->net, ...)) and can reopen the
underlay socket in that netns, so the same reasoning as the tunnel
changelink series applies here.
Gate vxlan_changelink() with rtnl_dev_link_net_capable(), at the top of
the op before any attribute is parsed, matching ipgre_changelink() and
the rest of the "require CAP_NET_ADMIN in the device netns for
changelink" series.
