CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
cxl/port: Fix delete_endpoint() vs parent unregistration race
The CXL subsystem, at cxl_mem ->probe() time, establishes a lineage of
ports (struct cxl_port objects) between an endpoint and the root of a
CXL topology. Each port including the endpoint port is attached to the
cxl_port driver.
Given that setup, it follows that when either any port in that lineage
goes through a cxl_port ->remove() event, or the memdev goes through a
cxl_mem ->remove() event. The hierarchy below the removed port, or the
entire hierarchy if the memdev is removed needs to come down.
The delete_endpoint() callback is careful to check whether it is being
called to tear down the hierarchy, or if it is only being called to
teardown the memdev because an ancestor port is going through
->remove().
That care needs to take the device_lock() of the endpoint's parent.
Which requires 2 bugs to be fixed:
1/ A reference on the parent is needed to prevent use-after-free
scenarios like this signature:
BUG: spinlock bad magic on CPU#0, kworker/u56:0/11
Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (Q35 + ICH9, 2009), BIOS edk2-20230524-3.fc38 05/24/2023
Workqueue: cxl_port detach_memdev [cxl_core]

2/ In the case of RCH topologies, the parent device that needs to be
locked is not always @port->dev as returned by cxl_mem_find_port(), use
endpoint->dev.parent instead. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/msm/dpu: Add mutex lock in control vblank irq
Add a mutex lock to control vblank irq to synchronize vblank
enable/disable operations happening from different threads to prevent
race conditions while registering/unregistering the vblank irq callback.
v4: -Removed vblank_ctl_lock from dpu_encoder_virt, so it is only a
parameter of dpu_encoder_phys.
-Switch from atomic refcnt to a simple int counter as mutex has
now been added
v3: Mistakenly did not change wording in last version. It is done now.
v2: Slightly changed wording of commit message

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
selinux: fix BPF token permission checks
Avoid multiple lookups of the bpffs creator SID using the token's file
descriptor when the same information can be found via the resolved
path/dentry (in selinux_bpf_token_create()) or the token itself (in
selinux_bpf_map_create() and selinux_bpf_prog_load()). Not only does
this simplify the code, it avoids potential TOCTOU issues if the user
changes the token file descriptor passed into the kernel. |
| A race condition was addressed with additional validation. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7.2 and iPadOS 26.7.2, iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2, macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2, visionOS 27.2. An app may be able to access sensitive user data. |
| A vulnerability was identified in NocoDB up to 2026.08.0. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file users.service.ts of the component Registration. Such manipulation leads to race condition. The attack may be performed from remote. The attack requires a high level of complexity. The exploitability is assessed as difficult. The vendor deleted the GitHub issue for this vulnerability without any explanation. Afterwards the vendor was contacted early about this disclosure via email but did not respond in any way. |
| Concurrent execution using shared resource with improper synchronization ('race condition') in Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| A race condition exists in Audited 4.0.0 before 5.3.3 that can result in an authenticated user to cause audit log entries to be attributed to another user. |
| Use after free in Windows Ancillary Function Driver for WinSock allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
namei: don't reveal overmounted entries in refwalk
In rcuwalk the dentry is validated before it is accepted. step_into()
step_into() rechecks d_seq and __follow_mount_rcu() rechecks mount_lock.
An entry that gets unlinked in between causes the lookup to retry and
miss.
A refwalk doesn't do this. lookup_fast() takes a reference on the hashed
dentry and simply accepts it. So an unlink that happens after the
reference was taken isn't seen by refwalk. That's fine for a simple
file. We just happened to open it before it was unlinked, no problem.
For a mountpoint and specifically a locked mountpoint it very much
isn't. The unlink detaches all mounts and then removes the name. Any
refwalk that hasn't traversed the mounts yet simply reveals the
underlying entry. It's a very narrow window but it can be hit:
reads of a covered file in 60 s, 3 walkers, ~15000 unlinks
no widening 27
that step + 200 us 3741
See the appended patch for a more reliable reproducer.
So check the entry after step_into(). unlink(), rmdir() and rename()
mark the dentry with dont_mount() before they detach the mounts and
remove the dentry.
So a dentry that is marked with DCACHE_CANT_MOUNT and is unhashed by the
time its mounts were looked at is a name that was unlinked under the
refwalk. DCACHE_CANT_MOUNT is read after the mounts were looked up and
it is set before they are detached by detach_mounts(). A refwalk that
missed the mounts will see DCACHE_CANT_MOUNT.
Plain d_unlinked() is fine. A rename takes the dentry off its hash chain
but ___d_drop() leaves d_hash.pprev set. So only __d_drop() and a rename
over the dentry unhash it. The only move that flips IS_ROOT splices in a
disconnected alias. That doesn't have DCACHE_CANT_MOUNT set.
Add the to step_into_slowpath(). ".." and LOOKUP_DOWN may legitimately
land on an unhashed directory. A refwalk that crossed onto a mount has
path.mnt different from nd->path.mnt. A dentry that a filesystem dropped
on its own (d_invalidate(), d_drop()) doesn't have the flag set and is
treated as before.

* unlink_covered: unlink a file that is a mountpoint in a detached copy of

* A is a tmpfs with the file f1 (content SECRET_F) and the plain file
* MARK_A. A' is an open_tree(OPEN_TREE_CLONE) copy of A with MARK_A bound

| Absolute path traversal in Windows Encrypting File System (EFS) allows an authorized attacker to disclose information over a network. |
| Time-of-check time-of-use (toctou) race condition in Reliable Multicast Transport Driver (RMCAST) allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| SAIL is a cross-platform library for loading and saving images with support for animation, metadata, and ICC profiles. Prior to version 1.0.2, the built-in WebP decoder can crash during loader initialization when processing a malformed animated WebP file with inconsistent container or `ANMF` frame metadata. In `sail_codec_load_init_v8_webp()` in `src/sail-codecs/webp/webp.c`, `WebPDemuxGetI` with `WEBP_FF_CANVAS_WIDTH` can return a zero `image_local->width`, which is then used as a divisor when calculating `bytes_per_pixel` from the image row size. The division happens before frame decoding and before generic image skeleton validation in `src/sail/sail_advanced.c`, causing an arithmetic fault and process termination. Applications accepting untrusted WebP images can consequently suffer denial of service; builds must include the affected WebP codec. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.2. |
| Time-of-check time-of-use (toctou) race condition in Windows Error Reporting allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| A race condition was addressed with improved locking. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27. An app may be able to cause unexpected system termination. |
| Concurrent execution using shared resource with improper synchronization ('race condition') in Microsoft Bluetooth Driver allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| WAVLINK WN535M1 and WN535M3 routers running firmware prior to M35M1_V250922 contain an unauthenticated arbitrary file write vulnerability that allows remote attackers to overwrite any file on the device by sending a crafted payload to the sync_server daemon on TCP port 13136. The daemon, which runs as root and requires no authentication, accepts a 100-byte filename field in its protocol header without path canonicalization, allowing attackers to supply an absolute path and write arbitrary content to overwrite startup scripts or credential stores to achieve persistent system compromise. |
| Time-of-check time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition vulnerability in Apache Tomcat when creating unix domain sockets for the APR/Native connector allows an unauthorised local user to access the unix domain socket. The fix for CVE-2026-65183 only addressed the NIO connector. It did not address the same issue in the APR/Native connector.
This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 9.0.47 through 9.0.122.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.0.123, which fixes the issue. |
| Absolute path traversal in Windows Encrypting File System (EFS) allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network. |
| OpenReception's appointment booking software provides an end-to-end encrypted appointment booking platform. Prior to version 2.2.2, an attacker overbooks an agent, placing multiple appointments into a single time slot that the system is designed to keep exclusive. The number of overlapping appointments equals the number of concurrent requests, and one booking token is enough because the token is consumed after the insert. This results in the integrity of the booking-calendar breaking and availability being denied to other clients. This issue has been patched in version 2.2.2. |
| Nezha Monitoring is a self-hostable, lightweight, servers and websites monitoring and O&M tool. From 2.2.7 until 2.2.11, ServiceSentinel.worker in service/singleton/servicesentinel.go checked an owned service under servicesLock and later dereferenced pointer-valued serviceStatusToday and serviceCurrentStatusData entries under serviceResponseDataStoreLock without revalidating that ServiceSentinel.Delete had not removed them. A RoleMember could concurrently report TCP or ICMP results through the member's own agent and delete the same owned service, causing a nil pointer dereference. Because the gRPC server had no recovery interceptor, the worker panic terminated the whole dashboard process and disrupted every tenant's web interface, REST API, and agent connections. The issue affects availability only and does not disclose or modify data. This issue is fixed in versions 2.2.11 and 2.3.0. |
