CVSS v3.1 |
| Double Free and possible RCE vulnerability in Apache HTTP Server with the HTTP/2 protocol.
This issue affects Apache HTTP Server: 2.4.66.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.4.67, which fixes the issue. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: server: avoid double-free in smb_direct_free_sendmsg after smb_direct_flush_send_list()
smb_direct_flush_send_list() already calls smb_direct_free_sendmsg(),
so we should not call it again after post_sendmsg()
moved it to the batch list. |
| Successful exploitation of the
string injection vulnerability could allow an attacker to obtain memory address
information or crash the application. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
pinctrl: cirrus: cs42l43: Fix double-put in cs42l43_pin_probe()
devm_add_action_or_reset() already invokes the action on failure,
so the explicit put causes a double-put. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
apparmor: Fix double free of ns_name in aa_replace_profiles()
if ns_name is NULL after
1071 error = aa_unpack(udata, &lh, &ns_name);
and if ent->ns_name contains an ns_name in
1089 } else if (ent->ns_name) {
then ns_name is assigned the ent->ns_name
1095 ns_name = ent->ns_name;
however ent->ns_name is freed at
1262 aa_load_ent_free(ent);
and then again when freeing ns_name at
1270 kfree(ns_name);
Fix this by NULLing out ent->ns_name after it is transferred to ns_name

| Format string vulnerability in the new_warning function in ntserv/warning.c for Netrek Vanilla Server 2.12.0, when EVENTLOG is enabled, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) or execute arbitrary code via format string specifiers in the message handling. |
| Format string vulnerability in XM Easy Personal FTP Server 5.2.1 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) via format string specifiers in the USER command or certain other available or nonexistent commands. NOTE: It was later reported that 5.3.0 is also vulnerable. |
| Format string vulnerability in the inputAnswer function in file.c in w3m before 0.5.2, when run with the dump or backend option, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via format string specifiers in the Common Name (CN) field of an SSL certificate associated with an https URL. |
| Multiple format string vulnerabilities in (1) the cdio_log_handler function in modules/access/cdda/access.c in the CDDA (libcdda_plugin) plugin, and the (2) cdio_log_handler and (3) vcd_log_handler functions in modules/access/vcdx/access.c in the VCDX (libvcdx_plugin) plugin, in VideoLAN VLC 0.7.0 through 0.8.6 allow user-assisted remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via format string specifiers in an invalid URI, as demonstrated by a udp://-- URI in an M3U file. |
| Format string vulnerability in Apple iPhoto 6.0.5 (316), and other versions before 6.0.6, allows remote user-assisted attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted photocast with format string specifiers in the title of an RSS iPhoto feed. |
| Format string vulnerability in the VPN daemon (vpnd) in Apple Mac OS X 10.3.9 and 10.4.9 allows local users to execute arbitrary code via the -i parameter. |
| Untrusted search path vulnerability in the add_filename_to_string function in intl/gettext/loadmsgcat.c for Elinks 0.11.1 allows local users to cause Elinks to use an untrusted gettext message catalog (.po file) in a "../po" directory, which can be leveraged to conduct format string attacks. |
| Unspecified vulnerability in NetWin Webmail 3.1s-1 in SurgeMail before 3.8i2 has unknown impact and remote attack vectors, possibly a format string vulnerability that allows remote code execution. |
| IBM DB2 UDB 8 before Fixpak 15 and 9.1 before Fixpak 3 allows local users to create arbitrary directories and execute arbitrary code via a "crafted localized message file" that enables a format string attack, possibly involving the (1) OSSEMEMDBG or (2) TRC_LOG_FILE environment variable in db2licd (db2licm). |
| Format string vulnerability in the SMBDirList function in dirlist.c in SmbFTPD 0.96 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via format string specifiers in a directory name. |
| Format string vulnerability in TIBCO SmartPGM FX allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via format string specifiers in unspecified vectors. NOTE: as of 20071016, the only disclosure is a vague pre-advisory with no actionable information. However, since it is from a well-known researcher, it is being assigned a CVE identifier for tracking purposes. |
| Format string vulnerability in the logging function in the Oracle OPMN daemon, as used on Oracle Enterprise Grid Console server 10.2.0.1, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via format string specifiers in the URI in an HTTP request to port 6003, aka Oracle reference number 6296175. NOTE: this might be the same issue as CVE-2007-0282 or CVE-2007-0280, but there are insufficient details to be sure. |
| The format string protection mechanism in IMAPD for Perdition Mail Retrieval Proxy 1.17 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via an IMAP tag with a null byte followed by a format string specifier, which is not counted by the mechanism. |
| Format string vulnerability in the logging function in the IM Server (aka IMserve or IMserver) in Ipswitch Instant Messaging (IM) 2.0.8.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to cause a denial of service (daemon crash) and possibly have unspecified other impact via format string specifiers in an IP address field. |
| Format string vulnerability in EMC DiskXtender MediaStor 6.20.060 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code via a crafted message to the RPC interface. |
